(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors welcome the New York Knicks to Air Canada Centre tonight for an Atlantic Division battle. These two teams meet again at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.
Last season New York took three of its four matchups with the Raptors and has beaten them in 10 of the last 12 meetings. The Knicks have also had recent success in Canada, where they have won three of their last five versus Toronto.
Toronto found itself on the losing end of a 102-86 decision against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. Vince Carter scored 25 points and pulled down nine rebounds for the Raptors, who have lost six of their last seven.
Rafer Alston chipped in 20 points and a career-high 13 assists in the setback. Alston is the only Raptor this season to score in double figures this season.
On the injury front guard Jalen Rose missed the game with a bruised left thigh and is a question mark for tonight’s tilt.
