Toronto Raptors Team Report - November 24 11.24.2003
|
(Basketball News) - Toronto had a poor offensive showing on Sunday, as the Raptors were defeated by the Milwaukee Bucks, 82-62, at Air Canada Centre.
The 62 points scored by Toronto were a franchise low at home, breaking the previous mark of 64 that was established on November 20, 2000 against the Charlotte Hornets.
Vince Carter scored 15 points for the Raptors, who lost for only the second time in seven home games this season. Antonio Davis and Chris Bosh both dropped 13 in the losing effort.
Toronto has been the subject of trade talks recently as the latest report has Chicago sending swingman Jalen Rose to the Raptors. In exchange, Chicago would receive forward Jerome Williams, guard Alvin Williams and guard/forward Morris Peterson. A Chicago radio station also reported that the deal could also include forward Donyell Marshall going to the Raptors with Davis being shipped to the Bulls.
This is the fourth time this season that Toronto has scored under 70 points. Prior to this season, the Raptors had only scored under 70 in a game four times in the franchise’s history.
The Raptors are off until Wednesday when they start a four-game road trip in Atlanta.
