=== Utah Jazz Team Report - April 5 ===

(Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz welcome the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday to the Delta Center.

The Jazz play the finale of a season-high seven-game homestand. They are 2-4 on the current stand. On Friday, Derek Fisher had 19 points to lead a balanced Golden State scoring attack as the Warriors snapped a 19-game road losing streak to Utah with a 108-91 victory at the Delta Center.

Gordan Giricek netted 17 points and Mehmet Okur scored 14 in the loss to Golden State for the Jazz, who have dropped three in a row and 13 of their last 15 overall. Matt Harpring compiled 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Ben Handlogten amassed 12 points and 11 boards. Utah shot just 34.5 percent from the field

On the injury front, guard Raja Bell (shin) is doubtful against Golden State for Utah. The 28 year-old Bell has missed the Jazz’ last two games.

Utah, which will play six of its final 10 games on the road, is just 15-22 at home this season. After Tuesday’s contest, the Jazz will embark on a four-game road trip that includes games against the Minnesota Timberwolves, New Orleans Hornets, Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers.

It is the third meeting of the 2004-05 campaign between Utah and Portland. The Jazz defeated Portland, 92-87, in overtime on December 10th at the Delta Center, while the Blazers knocked off Utah, 98-88, on December 12th at the Rose Garden. The teams will play again on April 17th at Portland in the final contest of the season between the squads.

Portland has won two of the last three meetings in this series, while the Jazz have won six of nine and nine of the last 13 contests. The Trail Blazers have lost six of their last seven at Utah.

Giricek has scored in double-digits in six of his last seven games. He is averaging 10.8 points and 3.1 assists in his last 10 contests.
