Utah Jazz Team Report - January 31

(Basketball News) - Andrei Kirilenko finished with 21 points and nine rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz to an 85-79 win over the Memphis Grizzlies at The Pyramid on Friday.

Carlos Arroyo and Raja Bell each contributed 18 points for the Jazz, who earned their third straight win and snapped a six-game road losing streak. They held a 44-26 rebounding edge, and pulled down 16 offensive boards

The Jazz and San Antonio Spurs Jazz play the first of a home-and-home set tonight at the SBC Center.

San Antonio has won 14 straight over Utah. The Spurs last loss to the Jazz was on February 6, 2000 at Utah.

Utah has also lost 10 straight after winning its last two at San Antonio. The Jazz last win as the visitor against the Spurs was on February 28, 1999.

Earlier this season, the Spurs defeated the Jazz, 87-78, on November 10, 2003 in front of their home crowd.

The Jazz are just 5-16 on the road this season.
