(Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz were blown away in Saturday night’s road game against the San Antonio Spurs.
Malik Rose scored 16 points off the bench to lead six players in double figures, as the Spurs demolished Utah, 109-76, at the SBC Center.
Matt Harpring paced Utah with 15 points and Gordan Giricek scored 14 for the Jazz, losers of three of their last four games. Utah has dropped 12 straight at San Antonio and 19 of the past 20 meetings overall.
Utah also suffered a huge blow to its starting lineup when forward Andrei Kirilenko went down with a sprained right knee at the 9:08 mark of the second quarter. He ended with zero points in nine minutes and his future status is unknown.
The Jazz will return home for Tuesday evening’s game against the Phoenix Suns.
