Shaquille O’Neal notched a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds while Antoine Walker added 19 off the bench for Miami, which won its second straight contest.
Gary Payton tallied 13 points, grabbed seven boards and dished out six assists and Jason Williams added 11 points and eight assists in the victory.
Baron Davis scored 26 points and Mike Dunleavy added 21 for Golden State, which lost its third straight game. The Warriors have lost five of their last six homes games and their last four contests versus Miami.
Jason Richardson tallied 15 points and Derek Fisher donated 12 points in defeat.
A 9-2 burst in the second quarter pushed Miami’s advantage to 53-41. Walker drained a trey, Wade penetrated into the lane for a layup and O’Neal converted two slams during the spurt, and Miami took a 53-43 lead into halftime.
Richardson’s three-point play trimmed Miami’s lead to 63-58 with 6:20 to play in the third, but the Heat countered with 13-4 run to open a 14-point edge. Wade and Williams each tallied four points and Mourning’s dunk opened a 76-62 lead.
Payton’s three with 1:30 left in the period gave the Heat an 82-63 advantage, but Zarko Cabarkapa made two jumpers to end the period and get the Warriors within 15.
Golden State never threatened during the final stanza and Miami coasted to victory.
The game was tied at 26-26 after an evenly-played opening quarter.
