Walsh Talks Confirmed, but Isiah Thomas Looking to Future

In his talk with Thomas, Dolan must have said something to the lame-duck coach/president that made him feel better about life. That’s because Thomas was talking about being part of next season again, testing out his young players in the final 15 games, as if he’s actually going to be around.

With Easter weekend upon us, sources on both sides said any talk between the Knicks and Donnie Walsh are at a standstill until the Pacers CEO sits down next week with Indiana owner Herb Simon, as The Post reported yesterday.

The Post reported Walsh told confidants Monday at Conseco Fieldhouse during the Knicks-Pacers game that contact was made with Dolan, and he would interview with the Knicks later in the week. That has been delayed. [NY Post]
