Golden State will try and halt a three-game losing streak on Thursday when it visits reigning MVP Steve Nash and the Phoenix Suns. On Wednesday, Dwyane Wade poured in 32 points and dished out 11 assists, as the Miami Heat defeated the Warriors, 110-96, at The Arena.
Baron Davis scored 26 points and Mike Dunleavy added 21 in the loss to the Heat for Golden State, which lost eight of its last 11 games overall. The Warriors have lost five of their last six homes games and their last four contests versus Miami. Jason Richardson tallied 15 points and Derek Fisher ended with 12 points in defeat.
The Warriors are 8-8 on the road this season. After Thursday’s game, they return to The Arena in Oakland for a three-game homestand. Golden State will host the Lakers, Seattle and Cleveland on the upcoming stand.
Davis is second on the team in scoring (17.6 ppg) and first in assists (9.2 apg). He has scored in double-digits in 30 of the 33 games he has played in and has collected 14 double-doubles this season.
Golden State is 11-6 when it scores 100 or more points. The Warriors are 6-12 when they allow 100 or more points.
