Washington enters tonight’s tilt on a sour note after falling to the Indiana Pacers, 93-79, on Tuesday.
Kwame Brown led the way with 17 points for the Wizards, who have now dropped five of their last six games. Larry Hughes chipped in 16 points, while Christian Laettner and Juan Dixon both contributed 10 in the loss.
The Wizards, who are just 3-4 at home this season, will close a brief two-game homestand on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Washington has won its last two against the Magic and could have the upper hand tonight, as the home team in this series has won the last six matchups. The Wizards, who have won five of the last nine overall meetings, have won three straight and four of its last five at home against Orlando.
