(Basketball News) - The Washington Wizards fell to the Miami Heat, 98-93, at the MCI Center on Wednesday in the finale of a home-and-home set.
Miami had defeated Washington 106-83 on Monday.
Antawn Jamison scored a team-high 26 points, but missed two key shots in the final 20 seconds, as the Wizards suffered their second straight loss after winning nine of 11. Gilbert Arenas added 22 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for Washington, which has dropped four in a row this season and eight straight to the Heat dating back to last season.
Arenas has scored in double-digits in 11 straight games and is averaging 23.4 points and 5.2 assists in that span.
The Wizards return to action on Friday versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
