Washington Wizards Team Report - December 2 12.2.2004

(Basketball News) - Gilbert Arenas recorded a season-high 30 points with seven rebounds and five assists as the Washington Wizards easily disposed of the New Jersey Nets, 95-68, at the MCI Center.
Antawn Jamison collected 18 points and nine rebounds to help the Wizards to their fifth win in six games. Larry Hughes added 15 points while dishing out nine assists in the victory.
Washington welcomed head coach Eddie Jordan and former No. 1 overall pick Kwame Brown back into the fold. Jordan missed the last two games with a blood clot in his left leg and Brown made his season debut after breaking a bone in his foot during the offseason. He scored six points in 14 minutes before being ejected with 6:48 left in the game after an altercation with New Jersey’s Jason Collins
Washington’s bench sparked an 11-4 spurt at the start of the fourth — the last seven points coming from Anthony Peeler — and cruised from there as New Jersey mustered just 12 points in the final stanza.
The Wizards return to action on Friday versus the Atlanta Hawks.
