(Basketball News) - Kwame Brown scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Washington Wizards to a 76-74 win over the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre on Wednesday.
Brendan Haywood added 13 points and eight boards for the Wizards, who halted their five-game losing streak. Jerry Stackhouse scored 11 in the victory.
The Wizards won for only the third time in their last 11 games in Toronto. Washington has held the Raptors to under 30 points in the first half in each of the three meetings this year.
Washington hosts the Chicago Bulls tonight. This is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two teams. The Wizards have won two of the three contests, winning once at home and once at the United Center.
The Wizards have won three of the last four meetings with the Bulls, who have lost five straight at Washington.
Brown has scored in double digits in 10 of his last 14 games. He is averaging 12.8 points and six rebounds in his last four games.
