(Basketball News) - The Washington Wizards try to get back on the winning track tonight when they welcome the Sacramento Kings at the MCI Center.
Washington comes into tonight’s game on a seven-game losing streak. On Tuesday, the Wizards lost to the New York Knicks, 114-110, in overtime at Madison Square Garden.
Gilbert Arenas netted 27 points in Tuesday’s loss for the Wizards, while Kwame Brown finished with 21 points and Jerry Stackhouse came off the bench to score 23.
On the injury front Juan Dixon sat out the game with left elbow bursitis, while Jarvis Hayes missed the contest with a hamstring injury. Both players are questionable for tonight’s affair.
Washington is 5-9 in Wednesday games this season.
The Wizards are 14-20 as the host this season.
Washington has lost three straight and nine of the last 10 contests in this series. The Kings have also won four of their last five on the Wizards’ home- court.
