Wells’ season over with Rockets

Houston, TX (Basketball News) - Bonzi Wells was fined by the Houston Rockets and placed on the inactive list for the remainder of the season after not showing up for Monday’s game against Seattle.

Wells was not with the team for the pregame walk through and informed management after the contest he did not show up to the arena due to personal reasons.

Wells played in the two games before Monday, but prior to that he spent over a month on the inactive list.

In 28 games this season, Wells averaged 7.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per contest.
