Wizards’ Jamison activated from IL 04.5.2005
|
Jamison had played in 386 consecutive contests before missing a game against the New York Knicks on March 8 because of the sore knee. He then returned to the lineup on March 13 against Boston and also started the following day versus the Lakers.
However, Jamison was forced to leave the game against Los Angeles in the first half after aggravating the injury. He played only eight minutes and scored two points.
The 28-year-old Jamison, a member of the 2005 Eastern Conference All-Star Team, entered Tuesday’s game against Boston averaging 19.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per contest.
To make room on the roster, the team placed guard Anthony Peeler on the injured list with right knee tendinitis.
