Reeling Raptors host Atlanta

(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors hope to halt a four-game losing streak tonight, as they host the Atlanta Hawks at Air Canada Centre.

This is the fourth and final meeting between the clubs in the 2005-06 campaign. Toronto defeated the Hawks on December 2nd and January 3rd at Philips Arena and on December 28th at Air Canada Centre.

Toronto returns home after going 1-4 on a five-game road trip. On Monday, All- Star Dwyane Wade led all scorers with 32 points, on 15-of-19 from the field, as the Miami Heat defeated the Raptors, 101-94, at AmericanAirlines Arena.

Mike James led the Raptors with 26 points in the loss to Miami, while Morris Peterson and Chris Bosh both netted 19 for Toronto, which has lost four straight following a three-game winning streak.

The Raptors are just 10-16 at home this season. They have won four of their last six at the Air Canada Centre.

Atlanta will try to win its second straight game. On Monday, Al Harrington poured in 22 points, eight rebounds and four assists to lead the Hawks to a 104-102 overtime win against the New Jersey Nets at Philips Arena.

Josh Smith contributed 19 points, nine boards, five assists and four blocks and Joe Johnson had 19 points and 11 assists in the win over New Jersey for the Hawks, who have won two of their last three games overall and snapped a four-game losing streak to New Jersey.

The Hawks are a dismal 6-21 on the road this season. They have won two of their last three as the visitor.

Atlanta has lost two straight and nine of its last 10 at Toronto.
