New York Knicks Shopping Randolph, Curry and Crawford

06.25.2008 - Updated on 06.25.2008

Walsh’s greater goal is to revamp a poorly constructed roster and to create salary-cap space by 2010. To that end, Walsh has been shopping the three Knicks with the biggest contracts — Zach Randolph, Eddy Curry and Crawford — in talks with other general managers.

Walsh has considered packaging the No. 6 pick with an undesirable contract, but so far, he said, “I haven’t seen that I’d be able to do that.” He declined to comment on a rumored trade with Memphis involving the No. 5 pick, saying, “We have no deals right now.”

Walsh and D’Antoni have quietly made it known that they would also like to unload Marbury, although it is unclear whether the team is willing to buy out his contract.[http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/25/sports/basketball/25nba.html?_r=2&ref=basketball&oref=slogin&oref=slogin]
