(Basketball News) - The New York Knicks will try and stop a three-game losing streak tonight when they continue their five-game road trip in Golden State against the Warriors at the Arena in Oakland.
On Friday New York remained winless through the first two games of its trip, as it suffered an 88-81 setback to the Portland Trail Blazers. Keith Van Horn led New York with 15 points and Kurt Thomas and Antonio McDyess each posted 14. Thomas added 10 rebounds for the Knicks, who blew a 19-point first half lead.
Over the first 14 minutes, the Knicks scored 37 points. Over the final 38 minutes they managed just 44.
New York is 3-8 away from home this season.
Golden State won both meetings with the Knicks last season, but New York has won six of nine and 11 of the last 15 matchups.The Knicks have also won nine of their last 11 in the Bay Area.
