(Basketball News) - The New York Knicks dropped fell in double-overtime to the Philadelphia 76ers, 99-94, on Friday at the Wachovia Center.
Allan Houston led the way offensively for the Knicks, scoring 25 points. Stephon Marbury added 21 points in the loss, New York’s second straight.
Before the game, New York signed forward Vin Baker for the remainder of the season. He scored two points in 14 minutes. The Knicks also activated Moochie Norris from the injured list and placed guard Frank Williams and center Cezary Trybanski on the IL.
Houston has scored 23 or more points in three straight games.
The Knicks are off until Sunday when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks. It will be the fourth and final meeting between the two teams this season. New York is 1-2 against the Bucks this season.
