Nuggets acquire Doleac

Denver, CO (Basketball News) - The Denver Nuggets signed center Michael Doleac Friday after he was claimed off waivers from the Atlanta Hawks.

Doleac was waived by the Hawks on Wednesday without ever playing a game in Atlanta. In 46 games with the Knicks this season, he averaged 5.0 points and 4.1 rebounds. New York traded Doleac to Atlanta just days before he was waived by the Hawks.

The 6’11", 262-pounder began his career in 1998 with Orlando.
