Okur activated from the injured list

Okur had missed the last six contests with a lower back strain. He entered Wednesday’s action averaging 9.9 points and 6.5 rebounds over 55 games this season, including 31 starts.

Meanwhile, the club placed forward Tremaine Fowlkes on the injured list with a strained left groin. In 35 games this season, he has averaged 1.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest.

In other news, guard Richard Hamilton returned to the lineup after missing three games with a broken nose. He netted seven points and handed out six assists in 29 minutes against Chicago.
