According to Kevin O’Connor, Utah’s vice president for basketball operations, the two players have agreed to multi-year contracts.
Okur is fresh off an NBA championship with the Detroit Pistons and averaged 9.6 points and 5.9 rebounds per game last season. The 25-year-old Okur is also the first Turk to win an NBA title.
Giricek, meanwhile, joined Utah last season after the team made a deal with the Orlando Magic for DeShawn Stevenson. He averaged 13.5 points in 25 games with the Jazz.
Utah, meanwhile, reportedly has qualifying offers out on restricted free agents Carlos Arroyo, Jarron Collins and Mo Williams.
