(Basketball News) - The Orlando Magic matched their franchise record of futility with the 17 straight losses Wednesday, as they were defeated by the Hornets, 106-91, at New Orleans Arena.
The Magic also lost 17 in a row during the 1991-1992 season.
Tracy McGrady had a game-high 29 points on 12-of-31 shooting. Tyronn Lue added 20 points and handed out six assists for the Magic, who fell to 0-11 at home this season
Andrew DeClercq netted 14 for the Magic.
Orlando has lost seven consecutive games since firing coach Doc Rivers on November 17th.
The Magic are off until Friday when they host Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs.
