(Basketball News) - Tracy McGrady scored 42 points and Drew Gooden came off the bench to net a career-high 32, as the Magic pulled out a 124-118 overtime victory over Boston on Friday at the TD Waterhouse Centre.
"It feels good to be in double-digits in the win column," said McGrady, as the Magic picked up their 10th win of the season.
Juwan Howard chipped in 11 points and Keith Bogans added 10 for Orlando, as the Magic won for just the second time in their last 10 contests.
McGrady’s point total marked the 12th time this season that he has scored at least 30 points in a game.
The Magic visit Baron Davis and the New Orleans Hornets tonight.
Orlando, which has lost seven straight on the road, is 5-16 away from home this season.
The Magic and Hornets have split the last six regular-season meetings, but Orlando has lost seven of the last 10.
