(Basketball News) - Two of the NBA’s worst teams meet tonight, as the Orlando Magic host Gilbert Arenas and the Washington Wizards at the TD Waterhouse Centre.
This is the fourth and final contest of the season between the two squads. Orlando has won the three previous games, winning twice at the MCI Center and once at home. The home team has won seven of the last nine meetings in this series. Washington has lost four straight and 13 of its last 14 at Orlando.
Orlando is 5-10 in Wednesday games this season. The Magic, who have lost four of their last five as the host, are a brutal 9-23 at home.
The Magic are on a two-game losing streak. On Tuesday, Orlando fell to the Miami Heat, 100-89, at AmericanAirlines Arena. Tracy McGrady paced Orlando with 26 points and eight assists.
Juwan Howard collected 24 points and 10 rebounds and DeShawn Stevenson added 18 points in the loss for the Magic, who have lost six of their last eight contests.
Howard has scored in double digits in 10 straight games. He has averaged 18 points and 7.8 rebounds in that span.
