Pacers suspend Jackson 12.11.2006

He will sit out Monday’s contest against the Chicago Bulls.
In the second quarter of the Pacers’ loss to the Cavaliers, Indiana coach Rick Carlisle exchanged words with Jackson before sending the volatile guard to the locker room for the rest of the game.
The suspension is just the latest misstep for Jackson, who was charged with felony criminal recklessness and misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct for his role in a fighting incident outside an Indianapolis nightclub earlier in the season.
The 28-year-old Jackson is averaging 12.3 points in 22 games for the Pacers this year.
