Pacific Division squads meet in Seattle

Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors play the second of a three-game road trip tonight when they visit Ray Allen and Pacific Division rival Seattle at KeyArena.

Earlier this season, the Warriors defeated the Sonics, 113-110, in overtime at the Arena in Oakland.

On Wednesday, Golden State fell to the Los Angeles Clippers 106-102, at the Staples Center. The Warriors have lost two of their last three games.

Jason Richardson paced the Warriors with a game-high 28 points and 10 rebounds in Wednesday’s loss. Erick Dampier had 17 points and 16 boards for Golden State, while Mike Dunleavy had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors, who have dropped 11 in a row on the road.

Golden State, which made 43 percent of its shots against the Clippers, has lost four of its last six games.

The Warriors are 4-17 on the road this season.

Seattle returns home after going 1-5 on a six-game road trip.

On Tuesday, Seattle lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 99-94, at Gund Arena. Rashard Lewis scored 27 points to pace the Sonics. Allen netted 20, while Vladimir Radmanovic contributed 13 points and five boards in the loss.

The Sonics, who have won four of their last five at home, are 11-9 as the host this season.

Golden State has won three straight over the Sonics after losing the last 14 meetings. The Warriors have lost 20 of their last 22 at Seattle.
