Patrick Ewing Endorses Mark Jackson for Next NYK Coach

Knick legend Patrick Ewing, guaranteed to be named to the Hall of Fame today, gave an endorsement for his former teammate, Mark Jackson, to coach the Knicks New York K. If Jax is hired, Ewing likely would be on his staff.

"Whatever Mark chooses to do, he will do fine in it," Ewing said. "Mark’s a New Yorker, has a New York swagger. Whether coaching, front-office, he’d do an outstanding job."

Ewing was honored yesterday at the Garden with a video montage, but his Magic (48-29) were awful yesterday in losing, 100-90, before a sell-out Garden crowd. [NY Post]
