Chris Bosh scored 20 points, pulled down nine rebounds and handed out four assists for the Raptors, who have won six of their last eight games. Jorge Garbajosa added 16 points and Jose Calderon donated 11 points with nine helpers in the win.
Toronto shot 48 percent from the floor.
Mike Bibby led the Kings with 21 points on 7-of-17 shooting while Kevin Martin and Ron Artest each netted 18 points in the loss. Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 14 points for Sacramento, which has dropped seven in a row.
Toronto scored eight of the first 10 points in the fourth en route to a dominating 33-point performance to put the game away. Garbajosa’s trey with 2:49 to play gave the Raptors their biggest cushion at 99-83 and the Kings could do nothing from that point on.
The Kings finished the game shooting 43 percent.
A pair of free throws by Bosh put Toronto up 23-18 late in the first quarter, but a 7-0 spurt — led by five points from Artest — gave Sacramento a two- point edge.
The Raptors regained a 27-26 lead in the second on Calderon’s driving layup at the 9:58 mark, and controlled the rest of the frame as Garbajosa converted twice from the charity stripe for a 48-43 halftime advantage.
The Kings opened the third with an 11-2 run, ended with Abdur-Rahim’s jumper for a 54-50 edge. Then, with 1:17 remaining, Peterson drilled a three to put Toronto back on top, 66-63, until Corliss Williamson’s layup gave Sacramento a 69-68 lead entering the final frame.
