=== Philadelphia 76ers Team Report - February 18 ===

(Basketball News) - The 76ers reached closer to rock bottom Tuesday night, as they fell 106-85 at the hands of the Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center and Allen Iverson snapped.

Iverson, who missed a team practice on Monday in Denver because of engine trouble with his charter flight from Los Angeles, was fined and didn’t start. The All-Star proceeded to speak out against interim coach Chris Ford in the postgame press conference.

"I was just upset about being here eight years and somebody being here for one game and benching me," Iverson said. "I didn’t want to play in the game, but I didn’t want to leave my teammates out; I didn’t want to leave them out there."

Iverson posted 27 points and 14 assists off the bench for the 76ers, who lost for the third time in four games and fell to 1-1 under Ford. The Sixers lost their fifth straight on the road.

"I’ve been angry all day," Iverson said. "I don’t know Ford as a coach, player or person. But after one day, our relationship is out the door."

Kenny Thomas registered 17 points and 16 boards in the losing effort. Glenn Robinson added 13 points for the Sixers, who suffered their fifth straight road loss.

The 76ers continue their three-game road trip in Seattle on Thursday night.
