(Basketball News) - Kenny Thomas had 25 points with 16 rebounds, and made game-tying shots in both regulation and the first overtime, as the Philadelphia 76ers earned a thrilling 99-94 win over the New York Knicks in double overtime to extend their winning streak to a season-high four games.
Thomas posted his 10th straight double-double for the Sixers, who trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half. Aaron McKie added 22 points in a starter’s role with Allen Iverson out of the lineup, and Eric Snow scored 19 with seven assists.
The Sixers have won the last three games with Iverson on the mend with a right knee injury.
Thomas has averaged 18.7 points and 13.2 rebounds in his last 10 games.
Philadelphia is off until Sunday when it visits the Detroit Pistons. It will be the final meeting between the two teams this season. The 76ers are 2-1 against the Pistons this season.
