Phoenix Suns Team Report - March 30

(Basketball News) - Shawn Marion posted a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 101-95 win over the Washington Wizards on Monday at America West Arena.

Joe Johnson added 18 points, as the Suns won for just the second time in their last seven home games. Amare Stoudemire chipped in 15 points, while Antonio McDyess recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 boards before fouling out midway through the fourth quarter.

Phoenix improved to 16-21 at home this season.

The Suns are off until Friday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies. Phoenix is 1-1 against the Grizzlies this season. The teams will meet again on April 11th at Phoenix.

Marion has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games. He has averaged 19.9 points in his last 10 contests.
