(Basketball News) - Shawn Marion delivered 23 points and 12 rebounds to lead six Phoenix players in double figure scoring, as the Suns posted a 111-104 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday at America West Arena.
Steve Nash compiled 22 points and 12 assists for Phoenix, which won its sixth straight game and moved to 10-2 on the year, the franchise’s best start since 1980-81. Quentin Richardson added 20 points and eight rebounds, while Amare Stoudemire contributed 16 points in the triumph.
The 1980-81 Suns began the season with victories in 14 of their first 16 contests.

Marion has recorded four double-doubles in a row. He has averaged 23.3 points and 14.3 rebounds in that span.
The Suns are off until Friday when they host the New Orleans Hornets. Earlier this season, Phoenix knocked off the Hornets, 95-84, on November 17 at New Orleans.
