Deerfield, IL (Basketball News) - Bulls forward Scottie Pippen had successful arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Friday and will miss four-to-six weeks.
Pippen has missed eight of the Bulls’ first 20 games, seven of which were due to pain and swelling in his left knee.
The 38-year old forward missed 17 games last season with Portland after having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.
Last summer the forward signed a two-year, $10 million contract with Chicago.
Pippen was averaging 7.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.25 steals in 22.3 minutes this season.
In his 17-year career, Pippen has averaged 16.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
