PJ Brown Likely to Retire

The last time Danny Ainge talked with P.J. Brown, the veteran power forward said he wasn’t coming back. So the Celtics are now treating Brown’s career as a dormant, not dead, issue.

“Whatever P.J. wants,” Ainge said yesterday. “He knows that we’d love to have him back, but he has to want to come back.

“But I’m not counting on it,” Ainge added. “He’s 39 years old, and he has a nice family. He was a great contributor in our winning, but he said he doesn’t want to play.”

on 07.6.2008		 let the man rest not everyone can play into their 40s i dont know many people who did .
