Portland’s Randolph suspended one game

New York, NY (Basketball News) - Portland forward Zach Randolph was suspended one game without pay Sunday for his part in several altercations during the Trail Blazers’ 91-70 victory over Utah on Saturday.

Randolph, the team’s leading scorer at 20.5 ppg and rebounder with a 10.8 rpg average, was suspended for taking a swing at Utah forward Raja Bell while he was on the floor and for his roles during an altercation with 4:57 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Randolph will miss Sunday’s game against the Clippers in Los Angeles.
