(Basketball News) - Rasheed Wallace scored four of his game-high 29 points in overtime to lead Portland to a 102-95 win over Chicago at the Rose Garden on Saturday.
Zach Randolph finished with 20 points and nine rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who ended the game on a 11-2 run to clinch their season-high fourth straight victory. Ruben Patterson added 14 points.
Damon Stoudamire finished with 12 points and a season-high 14 assists for Portland, which overcame a 10-point deficit late in the third quarter.
Portland ended the third on a 12-4 run. Two foul shots by Dale Davis with 23 seconds left in the quarter pulled the team within 77-75.
In the fourth quarter, both teams led by three points. A layup by Wallace with 59 seconds to play forged a 91-91 tie, the third tie of the quarter. A missed shot by Chicago’s Antonio Davis in the waning seconds led to overtime.
Trailing 93-91, the Trail Blazers rallied. A jumper by Derek Anderson forged a 93-93 tie, and Wallace scored five of the next seven points, including an alley-oop dunk with 1:21 to play to put them ahead 98-95.
Stoudamire and Anderson each hit two free throws to cap the win.
Portland snapped a four-game home losing streak and earned their third straight win in the series.
The Blazers are off until Monday when they visit the Denver Nuggets.
