(Basketball News) - Damon Stoudamire scored a game-high 33 points, Zach Randolph added 22 with 18 rebounds and the Portland Trail Blazers rolled to a 110-98 victory over Milwaukee at the Rose Garden.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim chipped in 17 points for the Blazers, who won for just the second time in six games. Derek Anderson added 14 points in the victory.
Randolph has scored in double-digits in all eight of Portland’s games this season. He leads the team in scoring (20.4 ppg) and rebounding (12.1 rpg).
Earlier in the day on Friday, Portland signed guard Geno Carlisle, who appeared in four preseason games for the Trail Blazers. Carlisle, who played in Venezuela, Kuwait and the American Basketball Association last season, did not see any action against Milwaukee.
Portland, which improved to 3-1 at home this season, returns to action on Sunday when its hosts the Houston Rockets. THe Trail Blazers dropped threee of their four matchups with the Rockets last season, but Portland has won seven of the last 11 meetings. Houston has also lost seven of 11 and nine of its last 14 at Portland.
