=== Portland Trail Blazers Team Report - November 4 ===

(Basketball News) - Portland picked up a 78-75 win over the Golden State Warriors at The Arena in Oakland on Wednesday night.

Nick Van Exel came off the bench to post a game-high 20 points for the Blazers. Shareef Abdur-Rahim added 18 points for the Trail Blazers, who are looking to get back into the playoffs after failing to do so for the first time in 22 years last season.

Golden State led by six heading into the final 12 minutes, but the Trail Blazers outscored the Warriors 25-16 in the final quarter to tally the victory.

Portland made its first eight shots from the field in the frame and started it with a 21-7 run. Van Exel capped off the decisive burst on a three-pointer with 5:40 remaining to put the Blazers ahead, 74-66.

Zach Randolph, who signed an $84 million, six-year contract extension Monday, tallied 13 points and 10 boards for Portland.

Portland has won eight of the last 10 meetings, including four of five at Golden State.

The Blazers have a day off before opening their home slate against the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night.
