Randolph continues to shine for Portland 02.6.2007

Randolph is having an excellent season for the Trail Blazers. The Michigan State product leads Portland in scoring (23.8 ppg) and rebounding (10.4 rpg). He has collected 28 double-doubles this season and has scored in double-digits in 46 of 48 games.
The Phoenix Suns conclude a short two-game road trip when they visit the Trail Blazers on Tuesday at the Rose Garden. It is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the squads. The Suns won the three previous contests and try and sweep the season-series for the second time in three seasons.
Phoenix has won five in a row and nine of the last 10 contests against the Trail Blazers. The Suns have won two straight and four of their last five at Portland.
The Trail Blazers, who wrap up a two-game homestand against Phoenix, attempt to halt a two-game losing streak. Ben Gordon scored 33 points, as the Bulls downed the Trail Blazers, 88-86, on Saturday at the Rose Garden.
Randolph scored 27 points in the loss to Chicago for the Trail Blazers, who have lost three of their last four games overall. Rookie Brandon Roy and Jarrett Jack both scored 16 points, while Juan Dixon ended with 11 points off the bench in defeat.
Portland is 12-13 at home this season. After Tuesday’s contest, the Trail Blazers embark on a four-game road trip. They will visit Charlotte, Washington, Miami and Orlando.
The Trail Blazers are 9-4 when they score 100 or more points this season. They have reached the century mark in three of their last five contests.
