Raptors acquire Printezis from Spurs

New York, NY (Basketball News) - The Raptors acquired the draft rights to forward Giorgos Printezis from the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Toronto’s second-round pick in the 2008 NBA Draft.

The 6-foot-8 Printezis, who was selected 58th overall in Thursday’s draft, averaged 11.5 points and 4.0 rebounds in 24 games last season with Olimpia GE Larisa in the Greek AI league. He shot 59 percent from the field.
