Raptors sign Jackson for remainder of season and next year

Toronto, ON (Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors have signed forward Luke Jackson to a contract for the remainder of this season and the 2007-08 campaign.

Jackson joined the Raptors in late March and has averaged 1.7 points in seven games. His best game came April 3 at Miami with 10 points, two rebounds and two assists.

The 25-year-old also spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers in January, appearing in three games. He played with Idaho of the NBDL before joining Toronto.

Jackson was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 10th overall pick of the 2004 draft. He played two seasons with Cleveland, averaging 2.7 points in 46 games.
