Report: Sixers’ Randolph breaks ankle at practice

11.30.2006

Philadelphia, PA (Basketball News) - Philadelphia 76ers forward Shavlik Randolph reportedly suffered a left ankle fracture and dislocation Thursday during practice.

According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, the injury occurred when the forward’s foot landed on that of teammate Andre Iguodala’s. Randolph was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, and Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks abruptly ended practice thereafter.

Randolph has averaged 4.5 points and 13.8 minutes in 13 games this season.
