Rush placed on IL

Los Angeles, CA (Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Lakers placed Kareem Rush on the injured list Tuesday.

Rush, who has been bothered by a bone bruise in his right foot, is averaging 6.5 points and 1.4 rebounds in 68 games this season.

The 6’6" guard is in his second season with the Lakers after being acquired from Toronto in a draft day trade in 2002.
