San Antonio Spurs Team Report - April 15

(Basketball News) - Tim Duncan scored 23 points and pulled down 16 rebounds to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 93-67 rout of the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday in the regular-season finale for both teams at SBC Center.

Tony Parker netted 11 points for San Antonio, which finished as the third seed in the Western Conference and will face Memphis in the opening round of the playoffs. The Grizzlies took 3-of-4 from the Spurs this season.

Despite winning their final 11 games of the season, the Spurs (57-25) could not overtake Minnesota for the top spot in both the Midwest Division and Western Conference.

San Antonio and Memphis play the first game of the best-of-seven series on Saturday at the SBC Center.
