(Basketball News) - The San Antonio Spurs fell to the Indiana Pacers, 89-79, on Friday at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Tim Duncan scored 16 points and hauled in seven boards for the Spurs, who have dropped three straight contests following a four-game winning streak. Tony Parker chipped in 14 points in the losing effort.
"The Pacers played a great game tonight," said San Antonio head coach Gregg Popovich. "We were inconsistent and played in spurts. They were the more aggressive team."
San Antonio connected on 5-of-16 (31 percent) from beyond the arc in the loss.
The Spurs, who fell to 10-9 on the road, are off until Sunday when they visit the Boston Celtics.
