=== San Antonio Spurs Team Report - March 4 ===

(Basketball News) - Hedo Turkoglu scored a team-high 18 points in leading the San Antonio Spurs to an 88-84 victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Wednesday at SBC Center.

Tony Parker chipped in 17 points, while Bruce Bowen and Robert Horry scored 14 apiece. Rasho Nesterovic notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, as the Spurs won for the 10th time in their last 13 contests.

Trailing 67-54 heading into the final quarter, Seattle outscored the Spurs 21-9, including six straight points from Ronald Murray, to get within one at 76-75 with 3:22 remaining.

The Spurs scored the next five points to go up six, but they could not pull away any further. Murray knocked down a 15-foot jumper with 1:28 left to pull the Sonics within 83-81.

However, San Antonio reeled off the next five points as Parker started the spurt by hitting a jumper from the elbow and making a free throw on the next possession. Horry hit two free throws with 11 seconds to go to make it 88-81 before Ray Allen fired up a meaningless three at the buzzer that went in.

The victory marked the sixth straight for San Antonio in the series with Seattle and the 13th in the last 17 meetings.

In his last three games, Parker has averaged 16.3 points and 4.3 assists.

The Spurs are off until Friday when they host the Dallas Mavericks. This will be the fourth and final contest between the two clubs, as Dallas has won all three of the previous games with the Spurs.
