(Basketball News) - Rasho Nesterovic had 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 107-86 rout of the Phoenix Suns on Saturday at America West Arena.
Malik Rose added 19 points and Tony Parker chipped in 17 for the Spurs, who won their third straight and improved to 4-1 without star forward Tim Duncan. Hedo Turkoglu contributed 13 points and six rebounds in the San Antonio win, its third in as many tries over the Suns this season.
The Spurs hit 50 percent (42-of-84) from the field, 46 percent (6-of-13) from three-point range and 85 percent (17-of-20) from the line in the contest.
Nesterovic has registered double digits in scoring and rebounding in his last five games. He has averaged 17 points and 12.4 rebounds in that span.
San Antonio is off until Tuesday when it visits the Memphis Grizzlies. The Spurs are 1-2 against the Grizzlies this season. The teams split a pair of games at the SBC Center, while Memphis beat San Antonio, 88-80, on November 3, 2003 at The Pyramid.
