=== Seattle SuperSonics Team Report - December 11 ===

(Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics fell to the Boston Celtics, 126-112, on Wednesday at the FleetCenter.

Ansu Sesay had a career-high 19 points for Seattle, which has dropped four games in a row. Ronald Murray scored 16, while Rashard Lewis and Richie Frahm each added 14 points in defeat.

Boston would hold Seattle to eight points over the final 4:17 of the first half and led 66-42 heading into the locker room.

The Celtics pushed the score to 80-48 by using a 14-6 run to start the third quarter. After 36 minutes of play, Boston held a 99-68 lead.

Seattle made it interesting in the final stanza by going on a run of its own.

After Boston’s Kedrick Brown hit a layup with 9:55 left to make the score 103-77, Frahm’s jumper at 9:34 began a 16-0 spurt for Seattle. A three-pointer by Murray capped it to pull the Sonics within 103-93.

That was as close as Seattle would get. A Paul Pierce three-pointer pushed the lead back to 15 points with under three minutes left in the contest and Seattle never threatened again.

The Sonics are off until Friday when they visit the Pistons.
