(Basketball News) - Rashard Lewis tallied a season-high 37 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 108-93 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday at KeyArena.
Ray Allen scored 26 points for Seattle, which has won eight of its last nine games. Jerome James added 12 points in the victory.
The home team has won nine of the last 10 meetings in this series. The Sonics shot 50 percent from the floor, including 12-for-27 from beyond the arc in the win over the Lakers.
Allen has scored in double-digits in all 22 of Seattle’s games this season. He is averaging 22.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 5.1 assists in his last 10 contests.
The Sonics are off until Friday when they host the Phoenix Suns. Last season, the teams split four games.
